Samuel won second place in a scary storytelling contest in the local paper. The title of his story was "The Haunted House". All of the members of our family were featured in the story. He got his picture and story published in the paper. This picture was taken outside of the newspaper office where we went to claim his gift-card prize and they videotaped him reading his story and put it on their website.

These are the handpainted halloween jeans Ms. April gave to Hannah- sooo cute and big enough to wear again next year.
Trunk-or- Treat (Oct. 30) Zach (Thomas' friend), Thomas (Luigi), Samuel (Mario), Hannah (Cinderella), Noah (mummy-hours of sewing muslin!!!) and Mommy (witch). Nathaniel was an Astros fan- but not in the picture. He's not a real Halloween fan.

Trick or treating with neighbors (Oct. 31) and this time Thomas wore the mummy costume and Samuel was a ninja.
Halloween day was spent at a really cool air show. The boys were supposed to go canoeing
but the creek was too high. This was our back-up fun activity.
